Multidisciplinary intensive care medicine

To provide the best care possible, we have four ICUs in which patients receive care tailored to their needs, these include:

Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU)

Our CVICU provides care for patients with cardiac conditions, including patients who have undergone open-heart surgery. Patients are monitored 24/7 by nurses with special training in cardiac critical care. Additionally, our patients are visited by cardiovascular nurse coordinators who provide heart education and help on the road to recovery.

Neonatal ICU (NICU)

For women giving birth at our hospital we offer quick access to advanced neonatal care in our Level III NICU. It provides top-quality care for newborns who are born prematurely or with certain post-birth complications. These newborns receive 24-hour monitoring and are cared for by board-certified neonatologists in our NICU.

Neurosurgical ICU (NSICU)

The NSICU cares for adult patients who are critically ill and recovering from surgery. Our NSICU team provides personalized care for patients who have experienced a cerebrovascular accident (stroke). Additionally, patients here receive tissue plasminogen activator (tPA), a clot-busting drug treatment for ischemic strokes.

Pediatric ICU (PICU)

Our PICU provides compassionate intensive pediatric care to children who are critically ill or injured. We know that children have unique medical needs and can experience stress associated with their hospital stay. The PICU team is committed to not only providing high-quality care, but also helping your child feel comfortable in the hospital environment.

Children in our PICU are monitored around-the-clock and are cared for by board-certified pediatric intensivists.
