Each team member is trained and experienced to help your child feel more comfortable and at ease before, during and after the procedure.
Additionally, all of the nurses in the children's surgery center are certified in pediatric advanced life support. This can help you have more peace of mind while your child undergoes their procedure.
Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)
A NICU can provide care for babies who are born prematurely or with congenital abnormalities. Our Level III NICU provides comprehensive services, including advanced surgery and respiratory support. We also have a neonatal transport team who is equipped to safely transport babies from surrounding communities to our NICU.
Pediatric intensive care unit (PICU)
Our dedicated PICU is there for your child 24/7 to provide close monitoring and treatment. The PICU team includes nurses, pediatric intensivists, case managers and respiratory therapists. We also work with you and your child to plan their transition back home once they are ready.
Both the pediatrics unit and PICU are secured with controlled access for the safety and security of our patients.
