Hospital earns six specialty care awards, listed as America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Specialty Care.

San Jose, CA – Good Samaritan Hospital, a member of the HCA Healthcare system, has once again been recognized as America’s Best 100 Hospitals for critical care and gastrointestinal care according to new research released by Healthgrades, the leading resource to connect consumers with medical care. The 2024 awards announcements mark the hospital’s second year as America’s Best 100 Hospitals for critical care and third year as America’s Best 100 Hospitals for gastrointestinal care.

Healthgrades evaluates hospital rankings by analyzing risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates to identify organizations that deliver consistently exceptional outcomes in 31 key procedures and conditions. The 2024 hospital assessment evaluated patient mortality and complication rates for 35 common conditions and procedures at approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide to identify the top performers.
