provide the highest level of care, we value feedback on all aspects of the patient experience. This
MedicalGPS patient experience survey measures patient satisfaction from the time the appointment was
made to the time the patient spent with the provider.
Visit Preparation: Measures how courteous, respectful and friendly the clinical
staff was during the patient's visit.
Provider Explanation: Measures whether providers at this practice gave clear,
easy-to-understand explanations during the patient's visit.
Office Wait Time: Measures how satisfied the patient was with wait time during
Patient Recommendation: Measures how likely the patient is to recommend this
practice to family and friends.
Robert G Aptekar Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Stanford-trained.
Dr. Robert G. Aptekar has over 25 years of experience providing patients with state-of-the-art medical and surgical care and consultations for a wide range of conditions.
Dr. Aptekar received his undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University and graduated with an honors medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School.
He was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. His postgraduate training included an internship and residency in Orthopedics at Stanford University Medical Center.
He followed this with 2 years of teaching as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford (specializing in joint replacement) and as the Assistant Chief of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the Children’s Hospital at Stanford (now Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital).
He then brought his skills and experience to the Santa Clara Valley and founded the Arthritis & Orthopedic Medical Clinic, where he continues to practice to this day.
In addition, 2 years were spent at the National Institutes of Health doing research into the cause and treatment of various forms of arthritis. He has authored 23 papers and presented at national meetings for his colleagues.
